Building on the success of both the Wales International Academy of Voice and Canolfan Berfformio Cymru, WAVDA is a hub of creativity, developing the actors, singers and directors of the future. The work ethic of the Academy is based on respect and collaboration, our students work with renowned industry experts refining their art in readiness for their careers.
Our undergraduate programmes are dedicated to train and develop performers of the future. Based in the heart of Cardiff, these innovative and challenging degrees offer industry-standard training alongside relevant experiences to prepare students for a career in the arts.
The Wales Academy of Voice & Dramatic Arts postgraduate team is dedicated to training and developing the artists of the future. WAVDA is based in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, offering programmes that provide students with the technique, knowledge and industry awareness required of the performing arts in Wales and beyond.
All of our teaching staff are experts in their field who work in Higher Education as well as the industry. Regular masterclasses and workshops with leading practitioners offer an ever-current perspective of the creative arts.
