Feedback about the MADE Cymru Industry Summit:

“让团队UWTSD提供必不可少的环节between academia and local business. Showcasing cutting edge technology and thinking behind advanced manufacturing productivity. It was a pleasure to attend the latest event. Always a great opportunity to network with other manufacturers and attend the insightful workshops."- Vince Minchella, Commercial Manager, Avon Engineered Rubber Ltd.

"It was a pleasure and an honour to bring my team to the MADE Cymru event on Monday at UWTSD. As an academic partner, UWTSD demonstrates time and time again understanding and action that is both practical and timely to support manufacturing in a changing world. The quality of facilities, industrial applicability of focus, and professionalism of staff, coupled with a seemingly endless passion for reaching out to join hands with industry sets UWTSD above the rest, and we are pleased and proud to be industrial partners with the team."- Patricia Mawuli Porter OBE, Metal Seagulls.

“I wanted to thank you and the team again for the opportunity given to us at PLATCON Ltd. for supplying and demonstrating the robotic inspection cell at the UWTSD campus. It has been a really enjoyable project for us all. I have also really enjoyed the MADE Industry 4.0 Programme and have picked up additional skills as a result of these studies.”- Stephen Vincent, Technical Director, PLATCON Ltd.

“Great day at MADE Cymru Industry Summit 2023 at UWTSD. The day started with a really interesting session discussing the Smart Manufacturing Data Hub, followed by a live demo of the new Immersive Room (awesome!). The day ended with an interactive session discussing all things innovation - people, culture, strategy, leadership, storytelling - led by Chris Probert and Lowri Roberts. As a current MADE Cymru student what I loved most though was the bits in between, a chance to chat with fellow delegates, alumni, MADE team members and industry contacts. A hugely inspiring day - can't wait to crack on with my further studies.”- Adam Fairbank, Marketing & Recruitment Manager, ION Leadership.

“A super day with fantastic workshops and discussions, opportunities to introduce yourself and make new connections during the networking sessions. Thank you to all speakers and contributors. Well done to all that participated and special thanks to the MADE Cymru team and UWTSD for making this event a success.”- Nic Goddard, Lead Engineer Industry 4.0, Safran Seats
